The National Association of Estate Agents (NAEA) and Association of Residential Letting Agents will hold an event on October 2nd, which will see high achievers in the property industry honoured with Scottish Technical Awards.

Glasgow's Hilton Hotel will play host to the occasion, which takes the form of a Scottish Dinner Dance.

Local comedian Fred Macaulay will entertain the guests with an after-dinner show.

A statement from the NAEA said that the evening provides an opportunity to have a night out with colleagues and friends, as well as to entertain clients.

Private landlords recently found out that Friday November 20th and Saturday November 21st 2009 are the dates of the National Landlords Association National Conference.

The Holiday Inn, Birmingham will host the proceedings, which will include comments from officials in the private rented sector, as well as an analysis of government policy, an assessment of the current industry and other specific landlord issues.
