THE EXPERTS:
Alan Elborough – Before co-founding Settled Housing Solutions, Alan held a number of high profile positions in local authority housing and homelessness service’s combined with building a successful residential property investment business. He now combines both skills in consulting local authorities on how they can improve their working relationships with Private sector landlords and letting agents.
Jim McLaughlin – Prior to setting up Settled Housing Solutions Jim held a number of senior positions in the housing sector. His experience encompasses Local Housing Allowance and Housing Benefits, Housing Advice and Housing Options. He now delivers Local Housing Allowance Awareness and Housing Options Training Plans for local authority housing services across the country.
Paul Shamplina – has over twenty years experience in the legal field, originally working as a clerk, private investigator, debt collector and certified bailiff. As co-founder and director of Landlord Action, the market leaders and longest serving independent company specialising in fixed-fee tenant eviction and debt recovery, he has acquired a reputation as the landlord’s friend. He appears regularly on television, radio and within the national press, as well as speaking at seminars to landlords and letting agents. Since Landlord Action’s inception in 1999, Paul has helped to evict over 15,000 bad tenants and is the authority in this area.
